Takes pride in maintaining an organised and proactive approach to managing properties, ensuring that all aspects of the lettings process run seamlessly and that expectations are always met or exceeded; outside of work, enjoys playing padel, finding it not only a great way to stay active and competitive but also a fun and social activity that brings people together; and as a random personal fact, speaks fluent spanish thanks to being born and raised in spain, an experience that has provided a deep cultural understanding and a lifelong connection to the spanish language and way of life.

Joe Seccombe
Director
Joe Seccombe, the driving force behind Kurb Lettings, has dedicated over a decade to mastering the property industry. From humble beginnings as an electrician, Joe’s journey is one of relentless determination and ambition. He started by working for free on projects, absorbing every ounce of knowledge while studying for a Property Development degree from Portsmouth University.

​From managing his own refurbishments for properties purchased with investors to establishing the building arm of Kurb, Seccombe Building & Maintenance, Joe has built a thriving portfolio and worked on multi-million-pound projects along the way.​

Kurb Lettings was born out of Joe’s personal frustration with traditional letting agents who failed to efficiently manage properties and left tenants dissatisfied. Determined to raise the bar, he created Kurb Lettings to provide a service-focused, transparent, and efficient solution for landlords and tenants alike.
Kate Halas
Operations Director & Head of Property Management
With over 20 years of experience in the lettings industry, Kate is an invaluable asset to Kurb Lettings. Having worked for several high-street letting agents, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. Kate has successfully managed large site developments and contracts, demonstrating her exceptional skills in navigating the complexities of property compliance and maintenance.
Fluent in both English and Polish, Kate ensures clear and effective communication with a diverse range of clients.

Slawomir Halas
Director of Building and Maintenance
Slawek leads Seccombe Building & Maintenance, the dedicated maintenance arm of Kurb Lettings. A skilled plumber by trade, Slawek brings over 15 years of experience in the property and lettings market. For nearly a decade, he has worked closely with our founder, Joe Seccombe, delivering million-pound projects and ensuring the seamless maintenance of properties owned and managed by Kurb Lettings.

Slawek’s expertise goes beyond plumbing—his hands-on approach and deep understanding of property maintenance make him an integral part of our team. From large-scale renovations to day-to-day upkeep, Slawek ensures that every property under our care is maintained to the highest standard.
